Privacy Policy for Simple Notes

This privacy policy applies to the Simple Notes application (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by TP Digital (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

1. Information Collection and Use

The Application is designed to respect your privacy. By default, all notes, checklists, and data created within the Application are stored locally on your device. The Service Provider does not own, read, collect, or store your personal notes on any external servers.

The Application collects basic, non-personal information when you download and use it to ensure proper functionality. This may include:

• Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address.
• The operating system you use.
• Crash reports and app performance data to help improve stability.

2. Google Drive Cloud Sync (User Data)

The Application offers an optional "Cloud Sync" feature that allows you to backup and restore your notes using your personal Google Drive account.

• What we access: If you choose to enable this feature, the Application requests permission to access a specific, isolated folder within your Google Drive solely for storing your note backups.
• How we use it: The Application only reads and writes the backup files it creates. It does not have access to your personal photos, documents, or any other files stored in your general Google Drive.
• Data Transmission: Your data is transmitted securely and directly between your device and Google's servers. The Service Provider never intercepts, views, or stores your Google Drive data or your notes on third-party servers.

3. In-App Purchases and Billing

The Application offers premium features via In-App Purchases.

• All payments are securely processed and managed by Google Play Billing.
• The Service Provider does not collect, process, or store your credit card information, financial details, or billing address. We only receive an anonymous digital receipt from Google to unlock your premium features.

4. Third-Party Access

The Application utilizes the following third-party services to facilitate core functionality:

• Google Play Services: Used for app distribution, secure authentication, and core device functionality.
• Google Drive API: Used exclusively for the user-initiated Cloud Sync backup and restore functionality.

5. Opt-Out Rights and Data Deletion

You retain complete control over your data:

• Local Data: You can delete all local data by uninstalling the Application from your device or clearing the Application's data in your device settings.
• Cloud Data: You can delete your cloud backups at any time by managing your connected apps within your Google Account security settings, or by deleting the backup file directly from your Google Drive.

6. Children

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If it is discovered that such data has been provided, it will be immediately deleted.

7. Security

The Service Provider implements standard electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality of the information processed and maintained within the app.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in the Application's features or legal requirements. You are advised to consult this policy regularly for any changes.
