Privacy Policy for TriScan

This privacy policy applies to the TriScan application (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by TP Digital (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

1. Information Collection and Local Storage

The Application is built with a "Privacy by Design" architecture. All your scanned documents, PDFs, and extracted text (OCR) are processed and stored locally on your device. The Service Provider does not own, read, collect, or upload your personal documents to any external servers.

The Application may collect basic, non-personally identifiable information to ensure proper functionality and deliver advertisements, including:

• Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address and mobile advertising ID.
• The operating system you use.
• Crash reports and app performance data to help improve stability.

2. Device Permissions and Transparency

To provide core scanning and document management features, the Application requires specific device permissions. We strictly limit the scope of these permissions:

• Camera Access: Used solely in real-time to capture images of your documents for scanning. We do not record video in the background or access the camera outside of the scanning interface.
• Storage / All Files Access: To allow you to merge, organize, export, and delete documents, Android requires broad file access. However, TriScan strictly isolates this access to its own designated "TriScan" folder. Your personal photos, downloads, and other files remain completely private and untouched.

3. Biometric Security (App Lock)

The Application offers an optional "App Lock" feature using your device's native biometric sensors (Fingerprint/Face ID) or PIN. This authentication happens entirely on your local device hardware. The Service Provider never accesses, collects, or transmits your biometric data or PIN.

4. E-Signatures and Document Encryption

The Application provides advanced features to digitally sign and password-protect your documents. These actions are performed completely offline:

• E-Signatures: Any signature you draw or save in the "Signature Vault" is stored exclusively on your device's local storage. The Service Provider does not collect, transmit, or have access to your signature data.
• Password Protection: When you lock a PDF, the encryption happens locally. The Service Provider does not collect, transmit, or store the passwords you use. We have no ability to recover or decrypt your files if you lose your password.

5. Advertising and Monetization

The Application is provided as a freemium service and uses third-party advertising networks (such as Google AdMob) to offer premium features via rewarded video ads. These third-party networks may collect and use your device's advertising ID and IP address to serve personalized advertisements. You can manage your ad personalization preferences through your device's system settings.

6. In-App Purchases and Billing

The Application offers a Premium version via In-App Purchases.

• All payments are securely processed and managed entirely by Google Play Billing.
• The Service Provider does not collect, process, or store your credit card information, financial details, or billing address. We only receive an anonymous digital receipt from Google to unlock your premium features.

7. Third-Party Access

The Application utilizes the following third-party services to facilitate core functionality:

• Google Play Services: Used for app distribution, secure authentication, and core device functionality.
• Google ML Kit (On-Device Processing): Used to power the intelligent document scanning, edge detection, and text extraction (OCR) features. All processing by ML Kit is performed entirely on your local device hardware. Your document images and extracted text are never uploaded to Google's cloud servers for processing.
• Google AdMob: Used to serve advertisements and provide free access to premium tools.

8. Opt-Out Rights and Data Deletion

You retain complete control over your data:

• Local Documents: You can permanently delete all your scanned files by deleting the "TriScan" folder on your device or clearing the Application's storage via your device settings.
• App Data: Uninstalling the Application will remove all local app preferences and settings.

9. Children

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If it is discovered that such data has been provided, it will be immediately deleted.

10. Security

The Service Provider implements standard electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality of the non-personal information processed and maintained within the app.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in the Application's features or legal requirements. You are advised to consult this policy regularly for any changes.
